Block Captains
Block Captains cultivate an inclusive environment in Greenmount West. They typically welcome new neighbors, contribute to neighborhood cleanliness, disseminate information about community events or safety alerts, and report neighborhood concerns.
Land Use Committee
The Land Use Committee reviews development projects, zoning changes, and urban design to ensure compliance with master plans and community standards. They evaluate land use impacts, ranging from small renovations to large developments projects.
Safety Committee
The Safety Committee works with community members, area institutions, and the police to increase the public safety of the Greenmount West neighborhood.
Green Space Committee
Designated Greenmount West Green Spaces include: Brentwood Commons, McAllister Park, the Wonderground, the Barclay Oliver Garden (BOG) and Hunter’s Lot (aka Paul Povolock Memorial Park), and Hidden Harvest Farm.
